We can advise carers and persons looking after those with illness or disability on their rights and obligations and we are fully aware of the provisions of the Nursing Home Support Scheme Act and the implications of that act for people looking for state assistance to pay nursing home charges. we also advise on the benefits for people from arranging to complete an Enduring Power of Attorney and we can fully advise clients on any queries they have about either dealing with an elderly person who is deemed to have lost their mental capacity to act for themselves or how to plan for the eventuality that they themselves might become mentally incapable at some point in time due to age, illness or other circumstances
